Our mission is to provide the highest quality psychiatric and behavioral care in order to meet the needs of the children, families and guardians we serve. At Laurel Heights, our greatest asset is our caring staff who work as a team to address the individual needs of each child who enters one of our programs. Our staff are selected not only for their professional competence, but also for their ability to understand and relate to children with significant mental health, developmental and behavioral difficulties. This allows us to thoroughly assess each child's unique strengths, preferences, needs and learning style and then engage them in the process of developing new skills and coping strategies.

Laurel Heights is located in Atlanta, Georgia; we serve children from all over Georgia and many different states. In order to facilitate family involvement in treatment and frequent contact, we make every effort to accommodate family schedules and needs. It is important to us that families and case mangers are fully informed of and feel comfortable with the care their children receive.
